Re: FAQ - Quiz Q&A

I just had the question "Q: In Lord of the Rings, what is the name of the tavern where Frodo and his friends meet strider?"

Above the answer from the "old" FAQ is: The Prancing Pony

But now with the new version this answer isn't there, I had the following choices:
1. The Pawning pony inn
2. The Frisky pony inn
3. The Swinging into action pony inn
4. The White pony inn

The correct answer now is: The Frisky Pony inn

(It gave me the possibility to buy the Noctis Umbra pack in the store, not sure if this is random selected or not).

Re: FAQ - Quiz Q&A

I wonder why they would change the wording of that answer? The true answer really should be "the inn of the Prancing Pony". Silly weird translations...

Re: FAQ - Quiz Q&A

K, here's a question that just came up that I've never seen before. I will write it exactly as it appears, no matter how incorrect that may be!

When a pony is attached as he scrapes the ground with his foot, what message does he send?
- He is just begging to be petted
- When nature calls...
- He wants new hooves
- He is learning new dance moves

Hurray, I got it right on the first shot! (I tried Googling Horse behaviours to find the answer).

a. Leonardo
b. Jack Bauer

All of these answers are wrong though. The only greek heroes to ride Pegasus were Bellerophon and Perseus (and that is only in a later version of the myth).

How is called the horseman head protection?
A shield

A lovely Hat
A riding hat

Are all these answers going to be consolidated into the main original post at some point? It just seems it'll be easier to find the right answers, especially if this topic goes into more than 1 page in length! :)

Re: FAQ - Quiz Q&A

The mustang word origin question has now changed, and the correct answer is "Snanish [sic] mestengo, without a master."

Too bad I had to be the guinea pig for that one.  Would have had it right had I not checked the FAQ first! Catitiz_PDT_27

Re: FAQ - Quiz Q&A

Q. Where does the modern horse and donkey come from?
A. The horse comes from Eurasia and the donkey from Africa.

Q. The mule is a cross between:
A. A donkey and a mare
I think this is the correct answer, but it loaded sortof weird afterwards so it was hard to tell.
I know I've had this question before and I got it wrong because I said "a donkey and a horse" and it told me then the answer was "a donkey and a mare", which I remembered as being a ridiculously dumb and tricky answer.
